For raw black metal this is the album I would now give people to introduce the genre. The cover will either draw or repel you, and then the music will have the same effect. None of Vide’s material has been quite this good, but Hanging By The Bayou Light is a very hard record to surpass. Metallurgical Fire

Very good, spirited heavy psychedelic rock. I like the pure rawness of the vocals—the singing style has an honest, unpretentious attitude to it that reminds me a bit of early punk. Music is lively, yet heavy, with often a doomy feel. Reminds me at times of Thin Lizzy or grungier Neil Young. I look forward to more from this band. I imagine they sound exactly the same live as they do on the album…that’s praise. 2nd fave song: IDKU. Thanks PK! 7.5+/10. Alrihkh
